Due to the time required for appointments and because other patients schedule at least a week in advance, missed and late appointments are a significant inconvenience to the clinic and other patients. Patients are responsible to know the time and location of their appointments. We recommend that patients keep in mind traffic or construction during busy times of day.
We like to maximize our time and ability to help patients. When other patients cancel, we may call patients before their appointments about moving to a time slightly earlier or later than their original appointment. Changing appointment time is completely optional.
If patients are significantly late to their appointment, we will charge them for the number of muscles scheduled during that time regardless of the number that could be accomplished.
Missed appointments that are not cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of regular business hours of the pre-scheduled time are subject to a fee of 50% of the service scheduled. There is a 25% fee for scheduled services cancelled within 48 hours.
We keep patients' cards on file. For patients that are subject to cancellation fees, we will inform them of the charge and charge within 24 hours of the missed appointment.
